Overview

For a quick hit or lappable loop, this combination of the newer Level Up Trail and Little Larch Trail can be done in an hour or less. It provides a great warm-up on Level Up Trail and numerous opportunities for flow, drops, jumps, and pumping on the Little Larch Trail.

Description

Head back along Road C-6000 and look for the left-hand entrance to Level Up Trail. This trail is fairly wide singletrack without many obstacles. It's a great spot for beginner riders to gain comfort and confidence. An option for mixed-level groups or families is to head up Level Up Trail together and the more experienced riders continue on this loop while the rest of the group can turn around and retrace the trail back.

A handful of switchbacks through a logged area mark the more earnest climb towards a crossing of Road C-6000. Look for a log ride after the crossing. Continue east up the backside of Little Larch as the trail kicks it up in grade and root obstacles.

The kiosk just after joining the Little Larch Trail is a good place to stop for a drink, secure any layers, and drop your seat as the majority of what's to come is descending.

The Little Larch Trail has lots of fun flow with numerous options to take more difficult lines with taller drops. There are also dozens of jumps and a pump course-like section along the flatter bottom of the southern half of the trail. The trail rejoins Road C-6000 a hundred feet south of the entrance. Head up for another loop or follow Road C-6000 back to the parking area.
