Need to Know

Parking available at the connected trail areas at Lubell Park and Bales Park.

Description

Flows well either direction. Starting at the Mooser Creek bridge (riding west to east), the trail climbs sharply up two switchbacks and then mellows out as it meanders through the oaks and around distinctive sandstone formations. Trail then drops to connect to Bale-Out or exit to Bales Park Trails at Union Ave.

Riding east to west, the trail begins with a steady climb from the Bale-Out junction before descending via several large berms and somewhat challenging rock features, including an optional mini-gap over one of the rock-armored drains before the final two switchbacks.
