Need to Know

There are sometimes trees across the trail. Summer conditions can be a bit dusty. Lots of rocks that add a touch of tech to the trail.

Description

One of the funnest tracks on the 108 corridor, Lyons descent is a well-built trail with lots of rocks, jumps, berms, and jaunts through trees and open spaces.

Start on Lyons Reservoir Road near Highway 108. From the reservoir road, the trail starts uphill and to the right, just a few dozen yards in from the highway. Follow the trail up and over the rock nose, then proceed downhill through lots of berms, switchbacks, and other fun features.

Once you get to the bottom, you'll see Lyons Reservoir and the dam. Turn right (east) on the dam road to go to the parking lot, and use Lyons Lake gravel road to climb back to the starting point.
