Overview
The wide open nature of this trail makes it perfect for somone who wants to get on sime dirt but dosen't want anything to extreme whilst also being able to get some great views. There is a good ampunt of uphill on the way to bluff lake bur after that it evens out and is hazard free. That being said it's still good for someone who might not be in mountain biking shape.
Need to Know
There is two way traffic the whole way so be cautious on any particularly busy day along with some possible service vehicles you should keep an eye out for. Other than that its entirity is in the forset so any ameneties are none existent.
Description
Other than some uphill up knickerbocker road towards bluff lake there are no real obstacles due to the constant care given by the forestry service. When linking onto skyline after reaching bluff lake there are some sections with sand and gravel that can be treacherous to somone going at hight speeds but the open nature of the trail makes it easy to navigate even in its most sandy sections.
History & Background
This fireroad system is used by firecrews and forestry to maintain and preserve the local trails along with some endangered flora and fauna present in bluff lake making for a great well marked and beautiful trail system for everyone involved.
