Need to Know

There is a nice parking lot at the bottom of the trail. The trail is marked with signs at the trailhead.

Description

The bottom half of this trail starts as a doubletrack trail (it is closed to vehicles) before narrowing down to a nice singletrack trail. This is a popular trail in Silverthorne that is commonly hiked and biked. There is a wooden fence at the top of the trail that marks the entrance to a Wilderness area that is off-limits to any kind of vehicle, including bicycles. This trail does connect to a nice network of trails in the area, many of which loop back to the trail or connect to other trails. The Forest Service has marked many of the trails with signs.
