Shady Forest is the final section of the Fishers Peak Trail, taking you to the highest point currently available to bike within the State Park.

From the Osita Ridge junction, proceed up through the woods. The trail is easy to follow and features mostly gentle grades with a few rocky sections and a couple tight switchbacks, particularly towards the top.

When you reach the gate with the Stone Guard section beyond, it's time to turn around and descend, as bikes are not allowed on the summit itself.
