Description

This trail can be connected to the lower trailhead of the Snake Dance upper section at the USFS Rd 04N12. Trail begins with a relatively flat section through a meadows and forest. The technical spots are around half way including, steep section, small boulders, loose dirt, and tree roots. Once you pass that spot the trail is very flowy until you reach a sharp turn to reach the Herring Creek. Then continue along the creek until you arrive to a disperse camping and parking area, where you can connect with the Pinecrest Peak trail or other trails to eventually reach Strawberry.
