You can access Tinton-Recovery Ridge from Little Spearfish Loop, Rimrock Trail, or Cardiac Climb via Iron Creek Drainage or D Loop of Big Hill.

Description

Classic Northern Black Hills trail through pine and spruce forest. Recovery Ridge offers great views of Terry Peak as you wander along the edge of Spearfish Canyon. Be prepared prepared for a couple of steep climbs/descents.
