Overview
This trail system was originally developed back in 2001 but was destroyed by the Mother's Day tornado of 2008. Through the hard work of the Ocmulgee Mountain Bike Association and Bibb County, the trail system has been redesigned and rebuilt. The new trail opened up in 2011 and is better than ever! This is some of the most demanding singletrack in Middle Georgia with great climbs and fast downhills.
Description
There are two loops that are well marked, a Beginner loop as well as an Advanced loop. The Beginner Loop takes out a couple of the longer climbs but it's still a challenging ride. To reach both trailheads you'll take the first paved road to your left once you enter the park, at the bottom of the hill you'll see the trail kiosk with the Advanced Loop starting to the left of the bathrooms. To reach the Beginner trailhead you'll need to ride up the road a few hundred feet and you'll see the trailhead on your left.
