Description

Little Bear is a well graded trail that gently, but relentlessly, climbs up the slopes of Mount Elden. Much of the trail passes through an area badly burned by the 2010 Schultz Fire. This makes for interesting views, but the trail can get hot. A nice descent route any time of day.

This is the bench with a view spot - you have to search for the bench - great view off Little Bear Trail. Great spot to stop for a picnic.
