Food & Drink
For drinks after a ride, fly down the hill from Piedmont or Enger trails to Bent Paddle Brewing on Michigan Street. The taproom only serves beer, but you're welcome to bring in your own food, and Thursday nights sees the local food trucks parked out front.
Craving some great pizza and atmosphere? Head across the bridge to Thirsty Pagan in Superior, a brewpub and artisan pizzeria with a new outdoor beer garden and live music many nights.
Feeling like something stronger than beer? Check out Vikre distillery in Canal Park, or sip their spirits in some craft cocktails on the deck of the nearby Lake Ave Cafe before enjoying their locavore dinner menu.
Riding around the eastern end of town? Head on down to the Northern Waters restaurant on Woodland Avenue for house-cured meats and fish platters along with an eclectic dinner menu and a great drinks selection.
For an upscale meal that's fun not stuffy, drive or ride up the shore to the New Scenic Cafe in Knife River. Besides serving delicious, local food and drink, all these businesses help support trail building in town!
