Copper Breaks State Park
Overview
Copper Breaks has several miles of multi-use trails open to runners, hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrian riders. The park also makes for great star gazing opportunities as it's very dark and quiet after the sun goes down. The terrain is similar to Palo Duro State Park or Caprock Canyons. Riders will find a mix of loose and packed red sand, rocks, and cacti.
Local Info
Overall this park is probably better suited to other trail users. Most of trails are green, cover some miles and panhandle scenery but nothing to write home about if you're looking for ups/downs or technical variety. The Rocky Ledges Loop and Bull Canyon Trail are fun and challenging so make sure to check these out.
