Overview

The Croy Creek Trail System was devastated by the Bear Creek Fire in 2013. On July 1, 2015 the area re-opened with newly renovated trails.

Croy Creek offers 18 miles of singletrack with opportunities for several different loops.

The trails dry out earlier than many other trails in the valley, so they are a treasured resource in that regard. The trails are closed during the very early spring, while they remain wet and muddy, but their condition is monitored closely and they are opened as they dry out. Please stay off of the trails when they are wet and muddy, and obey all closures.

Local Info

For riders living or working in Hailey, the Croy trails are popular for their proximity to town and fun character. Most of the trails were designed and built with beginner to intermediate riders in mind, but advanced riders also enjoy these trails. The system includes one trail rated as advanced. It is the one-way, bicycle only, Punchline Flow Trail.

In the fall, the Croy trails are usually the last trails plied by locals before they need to put their bikes away in favor of skis and snowboards.

Visiting Tips

Summer in the Croy area can get hot and dusty. Spring and fall are the best times to hit the Croy Creek trails. While trails near Ketchum remain under snow into the late spring, the Croy trails are some of the earliest to open in the valley.

In order to help reduce vehicular traffic through the Rodeo Dr. neighborhood, those driving to get to the Croy trails are asked to use the Croy Trailhead or Bullion Gulch Rd. accesses. Please use the Nadya's Trail access primarily for access by bicycle or on foot.

Food & Drink

The nearby town of Hailey has a wide variety of food and and beverage to choose from.
