Local Info

This area has many nasty washes that can mislead bikers and hikers as optional shortcuts. It also is prone to flooding during the two major wet seasons in Arizona. Signage often gets stolen or amended and there are a few hunters that ignore bans on shooting. Cell phone coverage has improved recently.
