Pine Log Wildlife Management Area
Overview
Pine Log WMA is a privately-owned tract that has recently (May 2022) been put on the market for sale. This potential sale may jeopardize the access that has been allowed on this land and allows the possibility of development. A petition has been made to help to encourage the State of Georgia and the Department Of Natural Resources to purchase and preserve this land. More info here: change.org/p/savepinelog?ut…
The 14,134 acre Pine Log Wildlife Management Area (also known as Pinelog WMA) is primarily known for hunting, however there are over 30+ miles of very challenging hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, as well as access to trout streams and primitive campsites. Roads and trails are closed all day to non-hunters during bear and deer firearms season and before 10:00 a.m. during deer archery and turkey season.
A Hunting License, Fishing License, or Lands Pass is required to enter the property.
