Sloped and rocky section on the south side of the trail.
Several step ups near the top.
Looking out to the reservoir and dam. Trails go off to the left and right.
This chunky terrain is certainly more fun on the way down than on the way up.
Looking back down to the ranger station. You can see "The Way Up" trail zig-zagging up the sunlit slope on the left.
