The trail is steep but has good switchbacks.
Descent off the west ridge to David Canyon has some steps and tight switchbacks
The trail contours along the hillside in the northern section of the east ridge
Rocky in places on the way down into the canyon.
There are sections of nice meadow cruising like this one
