It's hard to capture how steep some of these short climbs are!
ATV Trails are mostly straight and can be used to bail out of the singletrack in case of a flat or injury. Just be sure to watch ahead as you can't hear the ATVs until they're right on top of you.

A crossing where the ATV trail has overtaken some of the singletrack. Be aware singletrack riders are an annoyance to ATV and motorcycle riders in this area.
The path to get across flood control. He would normally have ridden this, but too many of the broken boards have exposed nail heads, and who needs a flat?
Sand...it's a fact of life in the river bottom. Some areas are too sandy for a 2" tire, but a fatbike can handle it, no problem.
