Hard to tell just how straight down/back up this is but it is one of the first elements you run into - welcome to the trail!
The reservoir dam - an early morning photo of the glassy water!
A great trail with plenty of nice views if you don't mind stopping for a quick look.
Coming back toward the reservoir dam treats you to this water front section.
A cool creek/rock crossing - beautiful scenery throughout this trail - quite a few exposed tree roots early on to manage.
If you can find it, veer left just before the first power line crossing and you'll find an another alternative route leading to some quick, fun sections.
One of a couple transitions under the powerlines with a great view of the water.
