This is a steep climb you're going to want to be in the right gear for and have some speed before you hit it.
Cruise around the kayaking lake.
This section of trail is close to the river and is winding and fast.
No shortage of poison ivy here. :D
The start of several small climbs and switchbacks that are a blast for us flat-landers!
