Surveying Vail's back bowls.
You'll be riding on the summit ridge (or just below it, if you're heading east), and you need to find this notch in the cliff where you can go up/down to continue your ride.
Hiking is the new Mountain Biking.
The back bowls.. Just as glorious in the summer!
When you reach the top of the Poma lift, do NOT go down the road. Look for a singletrack that proceeds at a level altitude straight across.
