Clinging to autumn
Probably the deepest cutout for the railbed. This is a great place to search for fossils!
Pictures don't do this justice.
Another great fossil hunting location
This is section of the trail has the most remote feel to it. Several areas to the East are close to the highway or have homes along it and don't feel as isolated as this stretch.
The top of the climb!! This is the highest point on the trail, it's all downhill to the East!
