East side of the trail heading south. Easily traversable and quite enjoyable to dodge vegetation.
Looking back North from Buckley Road. You can see how overgrown the trail is becoming, as well as a good-sized Prairie Dog mound. They hide long before you approach their dens.

First Creek scenic overlook. Wonderful view into the Refuge. I couldn't see any nests though.
Heading west on Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail.
