Facing south toward the great views of Santa Monica and the ocean at sunset.
Just do it.
First I saw what appeared to be a dead snake right at the beginning of the singletrack. I thought some pranksters put it there, guess what it was a live! I took a stick and scared it into the bushes so no biker would ride over it.. Then I saw two read headed vultures sitting on the edge of a canyon.
Saw 2 of these red-headed vultures (Sarcogyps calvus) is also known as the Asian king vulture, Indian black vulture or Pondicherry vulture. Sitting on a tree as I rode by..
