Part of an old avalanche shed that protected the train tracks along the John Wayne Pioneer Trail.
A large group ride prepares to enter the tunnel. A unique, cold (~40F even when 80F outside), and very dark experience. Good lights are a must!
The wide gravel trail makes for easy going.
Crossing one of the many trestles! This one is over Hansen Creek.
