I think this ride had the least amount of singletrack DH of all the rides I did in Crested Butte.

The start of the trail is probably one of the better sections of trail—yes the scenery is awesome, but honestly this trail was disappointing after all the epic rides I've done in the area.
Dyke trail views and aspens are stunning. Ride was eventually fun but quite a few hikers to avoid in the DH section that's closer to Horsecreek ranch.
When riding the Dyke Trail Loop, it will be mostly spent climbing on a dirt road—be ready for 95% road and 5% trail.
