A few obstacles make this fairly easy trail challenging at times.
A mile past the ranger station is this view of Redondo Peak.
Valles Caldera National Preserve.
This is a video of "most" of the point-to-point classic ride of Las Conchas to Battleship Rock. It begins once up on the ridge out of the East Fork Creek Canyon (Las Conchas), where the descending really starts. It's nice and flowing at first, but then gets more difficult throughout the ride.
