The trail has clear blazing and generally offers wide singletrack providing a chance to keep a good speed.
Clear mile markers. Mile 7 is the end of the trail - either turn around or take a shortcut back along the gravel forest service road.
Turkey Creek has a number of bridges across the bigger gullies. Most are in good shape, though this one is missing a plank.

Trailhead at West Dam, the east terminus of the trail system.
No political BS to be heard. Fall is here! Beautiful! I park in the lot for big rock and take the right hand turn onto the trail that says To Tower (it only says tower). More eventful! The other way says to tower and big rock. Still nice though. Just rides better the other way!
