Switchbacks on hill
Near the top of Leverich Canyon, you've climbed quite a ways by this point.
The climbing doesn't stop, but the trail is pretty smooth here.
The climb starts right from the parking lot and doesn't stop until the top.
There is plenty of shade through the thick forest.
