This trail is all about the flow and berms! Always optimizing custom drainage techniques, trained stewards prioritize sustainable trails for all.
This wooden drop is at the intersection of Iron Gate trail (shown exiting to the left before drop) and Concrete Block. Totally worth a session before you go back up to continue down Iron Gate.
Some kind of windwall or barricade is next to the trail, coincidentally marking a transition from flowy to technical.
Japanese stiltgrass (Microstegium vimineum) is a fast-growing, invasive grass that threatens native plants and natural habitats in the eastern United States. Whitetail deer do not eat the grass, which enables it to spread more quickly.
This is looking downhill from the mockup shelter, possibly a food preparation area.
