Covered Mine Shaft. This is one of about 7 covered abandoned lead mine shafts here in FDR Park. These are left over from the lead mining days of the late 1800's to early 1900's. The metal grate covers are solid and very reliable. Very interesting history here with many reminders of the past.
Fun bridge and cool scenery at the bottom of snake
Limestone bluffs along the Snake Trail. The trail runs along a small creek at the bottom of the trail
