BLM #1 Trail leaves straight from the lowest and most easily accessible parking lot in Pipestone. It heads up towards an old railway line.
Looking at the BLM #16 Trail winding up the hill from the Eastern side.
The Washout Trail has a section that is like doubletrack at it's Western end. Photo is looking west and the Access Road is just hidden from view.
