Werner Peak Lookout; the start of the Ralph Thayer Memorial Trail (Whitefish Divide Trail #26) is just on the north side.
Ride past Werner Lookout and...we're off!
Drop down the ridge from Werner Lookout, followed by one climb and the first good "look back" to where you started.
This little cabin is one of the first cool things you run into along the way. It comes with an incredible story. I encourage you to look it up.
When you're not right on top of the ridge, you're right below it riding through beautiful little meadows, springs and run-off lakes.
