There are many sections on top of the ridges where there really is no visible trail. Follow the cairns as best you can and when in doubt, stay high!
Nothing beats ridge riding.
Riding the Thayer Trail is just awesome.
Have I mentioned yet that riding this trail is simply awesome?
The Ralph Thayer Trail riding is just awesome.
