When you get to the Swede trail junction, stay on the Whitefish Divide Trail #26...unless you have to bail for some reason. This is your last chance.
The halfway saddle. Perfect spot for lunch. Now drop in for the northern half.
At points, you have to really hunt for cairns and sticks to guide you on your way.
There are many sections on top of the ridges where there really is no visible trail. Follow the cairns as best you can and when in doubt, stay high!
There is a high point on all of this ridge riding
Nothing beats ridge riding.
