After leaving the inital doubletrack, the trail zigzags down this grassy slope and it a little hard to follow. You are aiming for that flatter spot at the edge of the trees to the left.

After leaving the inital doubletrack, the trail zigzags down this grassy slope and it a little hard to follow. You are aiming for that flatter spot at the edge of the trees to the left.
Pole Creek Trail disappears for a while in a large grassy meadow.
The Pole Creek Trail starts at the edge of a large burn zone that gives you nice views of Canyon Ferry Lake in the distance.
Beaver Creek is very beautiful, especially in the fall.
