Need to Know

05-11-19 Trail status update - Overgrown singletrack is very narrow! Rutted out hard pack trail and very loose! Dangerous conditions right now.

Description

The best way to experience this trail is to start on the Mulholland Drive fire road.

This singletrack section drops 439 feet in just over 1 mile. It's mostly rocky, a little loose in some section, and a few short technical spots. Great views across the valley.

There are a few intersections along the trail, but keep heading north to end up on Wells Drive. There are also a few spots where you'll have options to take short technical climbs to get a better view from the top of the ridge. These eventually meet up with the easier route.

Watch your speed on the way down. Hikers come out of nowhere.

There some fast sections of this trail, use a bell or other, and watch for hikers and dogs!

On the descent from Mullholland you'll have two baby hills to climb, but there is a easy route around the hill to the right to maintain speed. Again, just watch out for hikers and dogs!

Lower section of Serrania Ridge Trail. Dog park on your left and homes on your right. This is a fast clean section of the trail with a baby technical section that you're about to ride over. Watch for hikers and dogs!

03-16-15 Serrania Ridge Trail, Woodland Hills, CA - Downhill from the top of Mullholand Dr. A short little gem of a ride with mostly smooth singletrack. Hikers are out so use a bell or other. Climbing is a challenge as the lower section is very steep and technical. No shame with Hike-a-bike!

Trail is dangerous right now, poor visibility due to overgrown vegetation. Very hard pack with rutted out loose sections. Be careful!
