Description

This is a fire road leading from the top of the ridge to the North Trailhead parking area. The bottom portion is a grunt with 8 creek crossings made smooth by mortared flagstones placed by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Be prepared to see others as the Red Road is also used by hikers, and bikers riding downhill.

The Red Road connects Cat Dog Snake with Boulder Ridge and West Ridge.
