Description

This is a generally fast trail around the base of A Mountain in Las Cruces. It's all singletrack through a desert landscape. There are occasional rock gardens to contend with but the trail is generally well maintained and fun to ride. Quick, tight turns in close proximity to large cactus and yucca plants will keep you on your toes. Make sure you have a spare tube/patch kit because there are thorns everywhere.

There are three parking lots to access the trail from. They are all accessed from Dripping Springs road and are very easy to spot from the road. There are pavilions with trail maps at each parking lot. There are certain trails designated for hiking only so make sure you reference the maps at the parking lots to avoid those areas.
