Description

The BUMP Trail is a challenging, steady, rooty, and rocky climb up from the Peavine Falls Road to the West Ridge and Red Road. The end of this climb (or beginning of the descent, depending on the direction you go) features the infamous "Blood Rock", so noted by the red paint on rock in this section. Blood Rock may require some hike-a-bike to get past it, but the trail eases up a little bit after it.

You're close to the end when you get to Blood Rock. The end of this trail is marked by the intersection with Jekyll 'n Hyde and West Ridge. Turn left on Jekyll n' Hyde for a fun ride, or continue on West Ridge to stay on the classic Oak Mountain "Red Trail".
