Description

I rated this trail as "difficult" due to the rock gardens, but anyone with solid intermediate+ skills should be able to tackle it. While it's not an epic aerobic challenge, there is one short and steep climb (avg grade about 20%) shortly after accessing the trail from Prickly Pear. There is also a somewhat tall wooden ledge across the trail right at the steepest part of this climb!

A lot of folks ride this trail in the opposite direction which makes this little ledge a fun drop. You'll have to decide for yourself what direction is best. Once past this short/steep climb the trail starts to flow better with some quick downs/ups into little creeks. You can bail by taking this trail back out to the road and the Poverty Creek trail, or continue the ride by hooking up with Trillium (recommended).
