Description

Dalton Wells Road is the main access point to the Sovereign and Cedar Mountain trails. As a mostly flat jeep road, it provides and good warm up or cool down.

Right off of Hwy 191, the road provides a large parking area for any kind of vehicle and includes space for trailers. 2WD cars are best to park here as the road can get rough in spots when going to the inner parking area.

Traveling to the inner parking area will require going through a gate - please keep it closed. In addition, there is a major wash crossing - this can be very sandy or rough depending on the time of year or recent precipitation.
