Description

Wranglers Loop starts out as an old doubletrack and climbs up slightly rocky trail several hundred feet. While marked as an easy trail, some of the rock is loose, and it's not a trivial climb, so Rustlers Loop might be a better option for true beginners.

Once you've climbed the hill, the track is singletrack and the fun greatly improves. You are quite a bit higher than most other trails in this area, and the views are great, even though you're not on the edge of the rim like you are on the other trails. Mary's Cutoff intersects the trail here (heading south), but you've done the work, so it's worth enjoying the longer option and staying on this trail.

Wander around on smooth trail until you reach Mary's Loop, where you have a multitude of options if you're not ready to turn back.
