Overview

A recurring race venue, Flat Creek Crossing Ranch is a privately owned property that is now open 8 am - 9 pm, seven days a week. Cabins are available - please call (512) 696-1512 for details and reservations. Camping is no longer available at the ranch. The trail has everything you could hope for in an XC route, including a couple of killer climbs, nice technical features and descents and fantastic flow.

Description

You'll start out on a nice warm up loop that is about a mile.

The trail drops into some tight and fast singletrack into a decent descent. Once you hit the bottom though, be ready for a leg and lung busting climb.

Reach the top of the hill and open the throttle, you're in for some fantastic flowy trails including some rock gardens and creek crossings.

The trail is mostly shaded so you can get out of the unrelenting Texas sun, but do be sure to bring plenty of water as the facilities may or may not be open on that particular day.

History & Background

This is a former UCI spring time race course where you can see all the world's greatest mountain bikers!

Some wet spots today. Several creek crossings had water today. I followed the XC trail today and did the ladder bridge and saloon trail loop twice. 11.4mi
