Description

The Jud Wiebe is perhaps one of the most popular hiking trails right in the town of Telluride. That said, it is not the most inspiring mountain biking. It is a loose 36-48" wide trail that is a steep climb or a fast and loose descent. It makes for a very fun end to the Mill Creek Waterline trail but is not as fun going up.

There are a few built up features for the downhill, but be careful because there are almost always hikers and woodsies on the trail. Sharing is caring.

One great thing about the Jud Wiebe is the great view you get of Cornet Falls which is a great sight when flow is high, or in the winter when it forms up into a huge pillar.

Possible linkups from this trail include riding reverse on the Deep Creek Waterline and then going down the most easterly leg of Deep Creek Trail, down Eider Creek Trail, or linking up the whole Deep Creek Trail all the way over to Airport RD.
