Description

This trail is an optional extension of Jesse's Ridge on the east end. This trail runs through moderate trees and ground cover riding on both sides of a tree covered valley.

Obstacles are minimum and trail is built to flow fast and easy.

Covered Mine Shaft. This is one of about 7 covered abandoned lead mine shafts here in FDR Park. These are left over from the lead mining days of the late 1800's to early 1900's. The metal grate covers are solid and very reliable. Very interesting history here with many reminders of the past.
