This ride consists of a full Riverwalk Blue Loop lap, a full Riverwalk Green Loop lap, then a modified green loop lap that encompasses the Green Loop Access Road downhill section, and concludes with a three mile cool-down on the Piedmont Medical Center Trail.

This ride starts off Herrons Ferry Road near a kayak launch beside the Catawba river on the Piedmont Medical Center Trail. After a mile on the greenway, the ride turns right and continues with a lap of the Riverwalk Blue Loop followed by a lap of the Riverwalk Green Loop, and concludes with a modified green loop that includes the extremely fast downhill section of the Green Loop Access Road and a three mile cool-down on the way back to the parking lot on the Piedmont Medical Center Trail.

This trail has some challenging climbs and is extremely rooty, but the downhill sections are mostly off camber and there are very few berms to keep your speed, so flow is a bit lacking. 95% of the trail's singletrack resides on the Riverwalk Blue Loop. The trail is fairly new and needs much more traffic to break her in but definitely has potential with a little trail work.
