Meander along side the deceptively powerful White River on the rolling
Skookum Flats Trail. Ride over endless roots, pass moss-covered logs, and soak in the firm tread of this Pacific Northwest classic.

This Featured Ride is mapped as an out-and-back, but can be completed as a one-way ride from either direction if you leave a car at the other end.
Description
This short, but rugged trail rolls along the White River through thick, dense, old-growth forest. The relatively flat trail has several technical sections packed with roots and constant short ups and downs that will challenge riders of all levels.
Enjoy the shady cover as you navigate countless drainages that feed into the river. Highlights along the route include Skookum Falls and views of the Palisade Cliffs across the highway.
Take on Skookum Flats as an out-and-back or string together an all day epic as this trail is a just a sample of the riding available in the area. It can easily be combined with several adjacent routes
