Description

The rides from Swampy Lakes Sno-Park are generally very mellow, but still intermediate. There are little bits of rocky technical here and there, but all pretty easy. This section of Swede Ridge is not really on the ridge for much of the time. The real view is at the Swede Ridge Shelter...take the time to walk to it from the trail, and you'll see Tumalo Creek drainage, which is gorgeous.

There are many offshoots to this and other Swampy trails, with little signage, but everything connects.

The first 2.4 miles is excellent, then it makes a left onto a sandy FS road.
