Fort Ord National Monument trails are closed from 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.

Description

This fun trail starts out from the ridge at Three Sisters Road. Be careful for loose gravel at the entrance but then be prepared for a fun ride down.

The top of the trail is through manzanita along an sandstone ridge (some of the rock has a reddish tint). Halfway down you'll transition from a machine built trail to a hand built trail as well as from brush to Oaks. Wind down through the Oaks down the hillside and finally come out at the public lands day area.

There is a pit bathroom here if you need a break. If there is a special event going on watch for hikers.
